tendra que contarles del Diablo, de su salsa y los nachos.

(he will have to tell you about the Devil, of his sauce and the nachos.)

Dicen que la verdad nos puede liberar

(They say the truth can set us free)

pero liberando la verdad es otro asunto.

(but setting free the truth is another matter.)

Dios sabe esto. ¿Que hara Dios?

(God knows this. What will God do?)

Porque si Dios habla con sus hijos

(Because if God speaks with his children)

tendra que contarles del Diablo, sus canciones y audifonos.

(he will have to tell them about the Devil, his songs and headphones.)

Porque al decir la verdad, Dios tendra que decir el nombre del Diablo

(Because when saying the truth, God will have to say the name of the Devil)

y eso jamas lo va hacer.

El Diablo estaba enojado.

(The Devil was angry.)

Le preguntó a Dios, “¿Por qué no hablas con sus hijos?”

(He asked God, “Why do you not talk to your children?”)

Dios respondio, “El amor habla por mi. Susurra más fuerte de lo que tu odio puede gritar.”

(God answered, “Love speaks for me. It whispers louder than your hate can scream”.)

Entonces Dios levantó su mano para cubrirse la boca

(Then God raised his hand to cover his mouth)

y con la otra mano le mostró al Diablo una señal con un dedo.

(and with the other hand showed the Devil a sign with one finger.)

Dicen que la verdad nos puede liberar

(They say the truth can set us free)

pero al liberar la verdad

(but when setting free the truth)

Dios tendra que decir el nombre del Diablo.

(God will have to speak the name of the Devil.)

Por eso Dios habla a traves del amor

(That’s why God speaks through love)

y Dios habla a traves del primor

(and God speaks through beauty)

y las cosas que no pueden mentir

(and the things that cannot lie)

y las cosas que solo podemos sentir.

(and the things we can only feel.)

Y con el Diablo, Dios usa el lenguaje de la señas.
