I'm gonna tell you a little story of what this girl has done to me
She took me away from the toys I had wanted
Now I'm unafraid to stand up and be counted
There I was a little boy playing with my little toys
When she took them away how I swore I’d miss them
Then she gave me a new toy box straight from heaven
Now when I'm with this girl man what can I say
This boy he’s alive and just wants to play
He’ll stand tall
He’ll stand straight
He will not sway
My toy box
In this world there may be many braggier boxes from to choose
But my Girl’s got the toys not of boys, but of angels
When I'm playing with her and our toy box, I’m in heaven
When I'm with this girl man
This boy he’s a live man
He’ll stand tall
He’ll stand straight
He will not stray

Behind The Song...
My (New) Toy Box
The idea of this song comes from the fact that, in many cases, the commitment made to a Woman is what finally makes a Man out of a little boy (It certainly did of me). The responsibilities that come with commitment and family are no small things. I played this song at my Sister’s wedding and I recall some shock as several people read the song with a sexual connotation. Surely you can, but THAT is not the point of the song.
