Dust rising in red

An iron will at heart

A rocky world out there among the stars

 

There’s ice in his veins 

Under a surface of rust

No evidence of life on Mars

Just a big’ol dumb rock out there among the stars

 

And the suddenly, Mars is spinning faster than before 

His Mercury is rising 

He wants a little more

Standing in the shadows of her side long glance

He must learn to love 

He must learn to dance

An iron heart  

A red rising in dust
