Jon has been a professional musician for more than 30 years and an instructor for more than 20. and

Blessed with an overstated sense of humor and an understated sense of self, this author, rhythmic poet and musical archeologist can be found supporting the likes of Jeff Pevar and Danny Kortchmar or matching wits and “potty humor” with his students.

He is the author of the book and instructional package 'Picture Yourself Drumming' and the host of the Jon Peckman Podcast "Cross over the bridge and start looking left."

Jon also plays bass guitar and two kinds of Dulcimers.
